What a delightful technician Jon Ferreira is & an expert in efficiently repairing our noisy failing garage door spring assembly & remote openers! Jon arrived early and gave us a detailed explanation of what needed to be done & gave us options. Upon making our decision, Jon set about making the repairs and Voila! an amazing silent garage door, a brighter overhead light and easy to use keypad! We love it! We had two new openers installed to upgrade and replace the original Marantec openers installed by Precision Doors 15+ years ago. Jake (our installer) was courteous, competent and professional. He takes pride in his work and is a great ambassador for Precision Door. The fact that he is the grandson of a long-time resident of our Granite Community of Sandy (Jack Seifert) gave us confidence in his integrity, workmanship and skills. Our power was recently off due to a repair on our home. Since I needed to use a car, I opened one of our garage doors manually. When the power came back on and I closed the garage door, it would not open with any of the remotes or key pad. It would only open and close with the hard-wired touch pad by the house door into the garage. I had a Precision technician come out on two occasions to diagnose the problem. The “assumed” problem was a bad “logic board.” The solution was to install a new opener since the logic board cannot be replaced separately. Since the opener is 15 years old, I was willing to consider buying the new opener, but It didn’t feel right. My suspicion was confirmed when our car remote opened the garage door. My problem was escalated up to one of the service managers. He himself came out to take a look at the opener. By then, everything was working properly. The manager chuckled and explained that when power is turned off to a door opener, sometimes they are like a Nintendo or PC. Their logic boards just get confused. They just need some time to get back in sync with their programming and they start working just fine. That’s what happened in our case. Lessons learned: 1) Always get s second opinion; 2) Listen to your own common sense; and 3) Trust in Precision Door. Precision tries very hard to solve problems and serve its clients. They are the best out there. I’ve worked with several other garage door repair companies over the years. Precision’s size, national presence and experience gives them a competitive advantage in price, product quality and customer service.

I have had Nick Manning provide service for my garage door on several occasions. I couldn't be more pleased, especially when my garage door spring broke on a weekend, pinning my cars inside. He provide an emergency repair so that we could use our vehicles until the following Monday when a full repair was possible. Great service.
