Josh came out to fix our 2 year old squeaky door that would not shut without holding the button down until closed because I ran into it with the garbage can. Not only did he fix the door, it was better than new when done and quiet! Thank you for the service and the reminder about setting up with door to our phone. Our technician Russell was absolutely fantastic. He diagnosed the problem quickly and presented us with our options to replace the old garage door opener. Ge was not pushy and completed the work quickly. He took the time to make sure all of the old garage door remotes were reprogrammed including the built in opener we in our cars. One of the cables on the door came loose. I took the cable out and called precision and they quoted me 189$ and told me they would give exact quote at site. Russell is a nice guy and an expert. He loosened the springs and tightened them again and installed the cable that came loose. It took him about 30 min to do it and no parts purchase was involved. The final bill came to 289$ which I felt was too high. I think I got the job done at a very high price.

I was disappointed that the broken spring could not be replaced and we needed a whole new door instead but I guess it was an old style and this couldn’t be helped. But I was also disappointed that we lost 6 inches of clearance with the door opened and that hadn’t been pointed out to me until after the new door was installed. OK for now but could pose a problem in the future with other cars. But the technician was prompt and courteous and did a good job with the installation.
