Are Keypad Garage Door Controls Safe?

Both changing your code often and keeping your pad clean will ensure there is no uneven wear placed on certain numbers that would hint towards your code. Also, most openers will allow you to program in temporary codes for guests that expire after a certain period of time, saving you from having to give out your actual code to anyone.
